Get ready: we're about to see major marriage news in at least two states. Rhode Island and Delaware are rocking towards legislative votes, and that means we could see access to marriage dramatically expand just in time for summer.

Meanwhile, Minnesota's not far behind, and a ruling on Prop 8 is due at the end of June. That means that the number of people living in states with marriage could more than double within a matter of weeks.

At this rate, the question isn't "will another state grant marriage equality," but "which state will be first?"

Or perhaps another country will be first. Uruguay and France both made major strides towards the freedom to marry this week, with lawmakers voting in favor of marriage bills in both countries. And debate starts in Colombia this week as well.
