Angry at the White House lies about the war?
Incensed at your Senator or House Rep. for believing them?
You really only have a few choices then:
1. Sit around and stew until the 2008 elections heat up.
1. Hit the bottle and watch it all burn down.
1. Channel this anger and frustration into action by organizing in our own neighborhood.
Throughout September Democracy for America's Night School is focusing on how you can change history by simply talking to the voters in your own neighborhood.
Precinct Organizing: Getting Started
Tuesday, September 11 -- 8:30pm Eastern
RSVP: www.dfalink.com/precinctorganizing
Over 650 people have already signed up to learn how they can make a difference in their own neighborhood starting this year.
This is where the 50-State Strategy meets your neighborhood. There are over 203,000 precincts in America and the vast majority of them have never been organized. Neighborhoods that have active precinct programs consistently perform better than unorganized ones. It doesn't matter if you live in San Francisco or the Mississippi Delta. This is something that anyone, anywhere can do. Not only will it increase Democratic voter registration and turnout in every election, but it will also help build and shape your local Democratic party.
Every Tuesday Night this month DFA Night School will cover a different aspect of precinct organizing during a free conference call you can join from the convenience of your own home. The call is accompanied by a slide show that you can download ahead of time or view in your web browser while on the call. Just RSVP today to get the free conference call number and be ready at 8:30pm Eastern time every Tuesday night this month.
The more precincts we organize in 2007, the more we win in 2008. Join us for all four sessions and help get the word out by recommending this post and emailing your friends and neighbors!

Would love to - but can't commit to every Tues Night ( Job). Is there any other way to participate ?
I live next door to my small town Mayor- who's a forward thinker already and I helped with his campaign.
Any other online sites for additonal suggestions if not available for a leadership commitment?
Also was just a the Michigan Policy Summit in Lansing- fun and interesting but not very productive.
Please post additional info- thanks
