Look, even Lauren and Heidi posed for the cover of Rolling Stone. Hillary and Barack can stand together for a photo op, too. And if the news today is any indication, Hillary's financial backers are already racing to join the team of the Democratic nominee, Senator Obama.

For the next few months, the message of the Democratic Party will do a 180. It'll go from the epic struggle between Obama and Hillary to the Unity of the Party. It won't be easy; Senator Clinton came this close to winning and feels she deserved to win. And many Democrats will never forgive their party for nominating someone other than this incredibly qualified woman. But when Senator Clinton tells her supporters to embrace Obama, and she will, they will, because we all have one common goal: to put a Democrat in the White House.

Hillary is already a powerful figure, and will only grow in stature as she remains a United States Senator. She's run a strong campaign, albeit one that made some mistakes, but she's proven to be both strong and brilliant. She's also laid the groundwork for the first woman president, and I sincerely hope that when that day comes, the first female in the Oval Office remembers to thank Hillary for blazing the trail.

Many of her supporters want the best for the United States. It should be noted that a few others tried to take down Obama when this race was already clearly over, and these people should not be forgiven. Most of us are sick of seeing those same old faces on TV and believe they ultimately contributed to Senator Clinton's loss; Senator Obama should let them become memories as an exciting new day of political leadership dawns.

But there are literally thousands of people who worked tirelessly on Hillary's behalf, and those good people are needed to get the Democrats to the White House. Many will work for the Obama campaign, and some will work in the next White House. And Hillary is needed, too.

So, now that the primaries are nearing the end, let's begin the healing, and the Unity, as we head toward Denver and what figures to be the most exciting Democratic Convention in a long time.
