This reminds me of the scene in Jaws where Chief Brody/Roy Scheider is chumming for the shark. I think before it's all over, the GOP will definitely need a much bigger boat if they want to survive, because the monster it's currently feeding will eventually turn around to eat its own.

I've been saying since April that the Teabag Terror would turn out like the monster in a scifi flick. The GOP is the scientist who refuses to recognize his monster for what it is until it's too late.

So he favored extending health care to 600K Alabamans but offered no solution as to how to do that? Or was he advocating extending Medicare to them?

He said what he knew they wanted to hear. Democrats bad! Government bad! Illegals RAWR!! APPLAUSE APPLAUSE APPLAUSE!!!!!

He did actually say that the threshold for Medicare was absurdly low. But what killed me was that he prefaced that remark by calling on the audience's Judeo-Christian ethic, and one of the first questioners told him she felt offended at being preached to. She then proceeded to offer the "death panels" question.
