Last week, we looked at the top 5 funniest comedy TV shows of 2010 and the best clips from those shows. This week, we turn our attention to funniest political videos of the year, made exclusively for the web.

Obama Caught Lip-Syncing Speech
1 of 6
Over the last couple of years, The Onion has established itself as the most consistently funny producers of original web video on the internet. This year they have delivered videos skewering a vast array of subjects from VH1 and Apple to Jennifer Aniston and Justin Bieber. 2010 also marked the year that The Onion put out its first paid web content with the Future News short film. And in 2011, they will enter the realm of actual TV with IFC's Onion News Network and Comedy Central's Onion SportsDome. The Onion may have made a name for itself this year by finding endless ways to make fun of Joe Biden, but it was their videos about President Obama which I thought were most successful. Some highlights include the video about the non-racist man who almost assassinated Obama and Obama's introduction of a high-speed bus system. But my favorite was this video from back in March that catches Obama lip-syncing a speech.

The Tea Party and Circus is the best movie I've ever seen. Thank you. I feel so much better after watching it--- for a minute there, I thought I was crazy or stupid. Good to know it's actually them.

In the tea party video, a woman has a t-shirt with Glenn Beck's 9 principles.... for a good laugh, follow this link to see the principles....

Some of them are fine, and some are well.... the most interesting is #3 because, apparently, it's something that Glenn struggles with...

"We have the best health care in the world" yes, if you can afford it.

Tea partiers would beat any comedian at his own game. Nothing outside of slogans.

Who picked these? They're not funny. Jon Stewart and Colbert are funnier every night of the week.

Aye, the last one is especially painful. :(

People talking about what they feel and not what they need to know. Good job guys. I run into this quite a lot but when you hit them with facts their heads explode.

The documentary on the tea-party was also fascinating and amazingly well constructed. The only blows that fell flat was "there will be poor always" and "people seek out the news they want to hear" because there will, and they do (you can't mock someone for speaking the truth).

The young man doing the interviews also has a particular talent for avoiding emotion and not tipping his hand while asking outlandish questions-- pretty impressive.

I think it's lowering your sights to say the poor will always be poor. I think countries like Denmark and Sweden have pretty much eliminated that economic class.

What? Are you from there? First, there are poor people in Sweden. Secondly, and more scholarly, Sweden's very successful economy is underpinned by international business in a more substantial way that any other country on earth-- specifically because of their international finance firms. Hardly a case of a self-sustaining model.

Great work UCBC comedy! A truly brilliant retelling and re-imagining. I would replace the Kevin Costner bit. Keep it up!!

Sad to see the programed people in the Teabager video, Fox News must get a real laugh when they see people repeat their lies verbatim.

Is Darrell Hammond's Clinton the worst SNL presidential impression or is it just hard to follow a genius like Phil Hartman?
08:42 PM on 12/20/2010
They were both excellent. Don't be so critical...
09:58 PM on 12/20/2010
His is much better than Hartman's.
06:43 PM on 12/20/2010
They'd be funnier if they weren't so dammed scary
