Choosing which college or university you want to spend the first four years of your independence (if you're lucky enough to get away from home) requires high schoolers to consider a lot of things at such a young tender age.

Most people prioritize the cost of attendance, diversity, majors and minors offered, location, and most of all ranking. What many parents and students don't realize is that the ranking of a college does not always correlate with the expected earnings after graduation.
