White House Takes Water to the Extreme!

As the story broke that George W. Bush's Environmental Protection Agency will not limit the amount of rocket fuel in our nation's drinking water, it looked like it was just another example of Republicans against regulation.

But with the nation's economy in ruins, the Bush Administration has come up with a new plan to turn the story to their advantage. A plan that helps boost the economy, while simultaneously funneling money into our infrastructure and promoting the general health of our nation's populace. They even made a video to promote their new program.

Take a look.

The move is nothing short of brilliant. And to think it all started with George W. Bush's EPA refusing to to do it's job and regulate chemical pollution from rocket fuel? I mean, it's just rocket fuel. Who wouldn't want some in their drinking water? And everybody's drinking it. Well, technically, not everybody. But, according to the AP, it was found in

at least 395 sites in 35 states at levels high enough to interfere with thyroid function and pose developmental health risks, particularly for babies and fetuses.

Seriously, this works out great for Republicans. They get to keep their polluters happy, and at the same time, they get to reach out to that much desired "youth" market. Who doesn't love those flavored water energy drinks? I mean, I don't, but, other than me?

And it'll get people to drink more water. So what if the water is polluted with dangerously high levels of perchlorate? You get to live on the "extreme," as the kids like to say.
