Here at Mobclix we developed this list of top five apps you need to take on your next date. We've got apps to wow your date, apps to prepare for date disasters, and apps to find the latest hot spot. Don't leave home without them.
To research this list we polled the twitterverse and our own office. We have to admit, that while we love these apps, our favorite response was: @GlassHouseApps: "Um, might be best to put the iPhone away on a date?"

The "REAL or FAKE" app is a great first date ice breaker. http://www.realorfakeiphoneapp.com/
Cool, but it is: "set it on the fly"...
Pllth. I would rather save the 99 bucks. You can just set your alarm to chime your ringtone to get out of a situation. I have did this many times...
I use one of these iPhone apps when I go on a date. it makes ka-ching sound like a cash register.
This ka-ching sound drives girls crazy.
Don't forget the vibrator iPhone app. For when a girl gets home from that date that went wrong...
I remember the last time I was on a date, she got a "check-up call" from a friend about an hour in. It was so blatantly transparent and insulting that it put me off her and I never called her again. So yeah, use that "fake call" app and see how many second dates you get.
If I'm on a first date with a woman and she takes a call, that's it....... finito! I'll finish the date but NOT INTERESTED IN 2ND DATE. NO WAY, NO HOW.
Should people worry about getting to know your date personally than taking your IPhone with you? What is the point of dating people then? O.o Can I get an amen or something?
How about when on a date, leave your phone at home or have it turned off so you can be present with the other person and not have a distraction. If the date is going so so horribly (something I can't imagine) be mature and just tell the person you need to leave. Wow. How did we ever live with out cell phones and these "important" apps that go with them.
Social networking and instant communication is destroying real communication skills. If you don't believe me look at the world in which you live in. If someone is so young that they never had a date where no one had a cell phone on I feel bad for you as your missing out on a great experience weather it be good or bad. Not too long ago maybe 10 years? It was downright RUDE to go out with someone and have a cell phone on. I guess the 1000's of ads the cell phone companies run every day have convinced society that it is not rude. Oh, make that 1001 commercials. Thanks.
haha yeah see my note below the slideshow...
