With the two -- oops, I mean three -- Dems pulling their punches in the Vegas debate, the evening's big winner was... corporate media.

With NBC rewriting its own rules at the last minute to freeze out Kucinich, then winning a last hour decision by the Nevada State Supreme Court to overturn a district court decision reinstating Dennis, one might start to wonder why the public need vote at all.

As a further example of this media mindset, check out this Reuters image that appeared on the newswire immediately following the debate. Of course, you can always chalk it up to sight lines, but looking back at this photo a year from now, one might conclude that Edwards -- also taking the media's cue -- had either bailed after New Hampshire, or been kicked out too.
