That is what would be called an "Abstract". It is generated from an actual birth certificate. The actual birth certificate is a form that is filled out by hospital personnel and will be signed by the doctor.

It is well known that in Hawaii at the time you could go to the dept. of vital statistics and apply for a late birth registration with an affidavit of one parent. You would then be able to get one of these.

However, you would NOT be able to get something that looks like this:

It's just another conspiracy theory.

From what I've observed, people who are into conspiracy theories have a few screws loose.

Conspiracy belief is clearly on the same continuum as paranoid schizophrenia: The people I've known with paranoid schizophrenia tend to believe every conspiracy theory out there, from the gunman on the grassy knoll onward.

This issue should be addressed for what it is -- racism. Politicians of any persuasion who give this life by not stopping it dead its tracks should not be voted in or returned to office. The line between hysteria and violence is very thin.

It has been stated and re-stated that nothing will deter these people from their insistence on trying to topple the President of the United States. This is just the beginning and will be a very long 8 years.

Why is the birther movement like granola?
Because it's full of nuts and flakes.

Two or three years ago I ordered some copies of my birth certificate from the state of Hawaii. They are in the same format as the one posted above even though I am considerably older than Obama.

If you were born in Hawaii before 1959 how was the matter of citizenship decided?

Being born in a territory of the US, which Hawaii was between 1898 and 1959, grants birthright US citizenship. Unless Dennis is 111 years old, there should be no question of his citizenship.

Has no one noticed that he is described in the certificate as BHO II?

I think any "sober" "thinking" member of the birthers could point out to you that his mother had two kinds.
BHO I in Kenya (maybe even Russia or Venezuela for that matter).

Then as part of the conspiracy she got on the plane (while still in labor) and flew to Oahu to have BHO II.

How diabolocal? The conspircy would then have two candidates. One who could run for President in the USA and one who could run for President of Kenya (or maybe Russia or Venezuela).

I'm sure you'll agree that there is pretty strong resemblance between Hugo Chavez, Dimitri Medvedev and the current US President. Simple co-incidence or chilling confirmation of a plot by the Freemasons?
02:03 PM on 07/25/2009
uhhhhhhhhh, his father's name was Barack Hussein Obama, maybe that's why the II?????????
04:57 PM on 07/25/2009
That's what liberals and their fellow travelers would want you to think, isn't it?

It was Sammy Davis Jr. it was Robert Francis Kennedy Junior.

Yet, in that same era, if we trust this Certificate, BHO was called BHO II.

No, I have a special reinforced tin foil hat which prevents such events - though if one doesn't really use one's brain, there is little chance of overworking it.

It is obvious that the "birthers" want to believe. You can show them all the certificates in the world -- it won't make a difference. Watched Gordon Liddy on Hardball the other night -- he finally appears to be every bit as brain-dead as he has sounded over the past 30 years. If these people were transported back in time to witness the birth, they would still be insisting that "someone" has arranged a vast conspiracy to plant this guy to steal our country away. Never mind how he ever got a passport or a security clearance, obviously, all the rules governing those activities were apparently suspended in support of this conspiracy. The hysterical woman in Delaware is a poster child for the birthers -- screaming that she wants her country back. She will probably never realize that "her country" is never coming back. We have moved on and we are a different country today than we were 50 or 60 years ago -- some people would suggest that's a good thing. Others will cling to the dark past with every fiber of their being -- when the birth certificate thing cannot hold up, they'll find something else.

and the 'birthers' will argue that this is not a 'birth certificate' because it does not have the words 'birth certificate' across the top.
it has the words 'certificate of live birth' which the 'birthers' do not believe mean the same thing as 'birth certificate'.

they read somewhere that one of the recent presidential candidates was not born in the 'states' and decided it must be Obama.
they did not read the remainder of the sentence that explained the it was Cheney who was really truly not born in a state.

the 'birthers' are uneducated and evidently uneducatable and the news media needs to stop giving them the limelight.

And yet McCain, as the son of two US citizens, is ALSO a Natural Born US Citizen, and therefore BOTH Obama and McCain were eligible to be POTUS, and both Biden and Palin were natural born US Citizens, and therefore eligible to be VPOTUS.

I don`t know either way on this issue, but you can`t always believe what you see when dealing with the government. If they want to hide something they can and will. To think otherwise is foolish.

Let me assist you in making a choice on which side might be correct:
Both newspapers in HI at the time carried birth announcements of Obama. One of them even has the parent's address. It is a house, not a hotel.
The only benefit gained by being a 'natural born citizen' vs having one parent be a US citizen is being able to become President. Do you really think these 2 people said "We need to smuggle this baby into the country, convince a bunch of people to lie about where the baby was born, get them to sign legal documents, so that the Department of Health Vital Statistics System informs both newspapers to announce his birth, so that he has a chance to become President!".

http://whatreallyhappened.com/WRHARTICLES/obamabirth.php pics of the announcements.
http://washingtonindependent.com/52625/mythbusting-the-honolulu-newspaper-birth-announcment explanation that the paper gets the birth announcements from the Department of Health Vital Statistics System.

This is just racism masquerading as outrage primarily looking for a pretext. God help us, save us from these sore losers. They ought to imagine how that feels when an election is stolen and/or rigged.

"Official" birth certificates don't get a notary stamp. In most cases, it is the stamp or seal of the County Clerk or some other official. Furthermore, that "official" stamp or seal is applied by whoever it is that copies or provides the facsimile to fulfill the request. When I needed to get copies of my kids birth certificates I actually waited while someone in the county office made the copies and embossed them with the official seal. That is the way it is done pretty much everywhere, whether you're waiting at the counter or waiting for the document to be mailed to you.

with perhaps some slight variation this is what happens:

You are born
The hospital prepares a BC for you and gives it to your parents
This is not the official BC
The hospital prepares a BC which is an original and it goes to county or state records
This original goes NOWHERE, EVERY
you don't get it, the POTUS does not get it, the judge does not get it.
If you want an official BC you request and it is printed out on a form that may change from year to year
You pay your fee and you receive this official document.
This AFAIK is acceptable to prove your birth circumstances for purposes of a law suit, passport, security clearance, etc.

The thing you see above is an official copy, you effin fhuls.

I've pointed out exactly the same thing on many other comment sites. I'm beginning to wonder how many of the so-called "birthers" have ever obtained their own birth certificates for any reason. Certainly, they must have had to do it at some point in time. They can't possibly all think that they have their original birth certificates. It doesn't take much in the way of brain cells to figure out that the the county clerks are issuing copies or facsimiles, and that the "official seal" is affixed or embossed by someone who works in the county office who repeats the same task several times a day.

i have had birthers tell me the have the original. when i explain to them that is impossible adding if they lost the original there is no way to ever prove they were born because without the original they cant get another copy they still dont gasp it.

look at the lady in video from the daily show. she is screaming she has her birth certificate from the united states of america and it says she is an american citizen.

makes one wonder she has

These birthers are showing bad sportsmanship. It's no different than a soccer game where the losing team fans riot.
