It's only lately -- and quietly -- the funding issue has even made a blip on the radar screen in spite of the widespread opposition to the war.

The administration succeeds in its madness through the tactic of abstraction, making war funding seem more like a paper game. Strange it's left to the illustrator to emphasize the link that we're the ones shelling out for the hardware.
