Round and round it goes and where it stops nobody knows. Who will be the next Secretary of State for President Elect, Barack Obama? Will it Senator John Kerry, Senator Hillary Clinton, Senator Dick Lugar or Governor Bill Richardson? The stakes are very high and up for grabs. Where will each one of these accomplished candidates fall on the chess board? Testimonies for each and every one of them have appeared on the pages of the blogs, newspapers and magazines and in the television pundit commentaries. Remarkably, all are brilliantly talented and part of what should be the A Team that leads us out of darkness into the glorious sunshine of a new tomorrow. We will even let Republicans in and put out the welcome mat.

Why don't we take the time to luxuriate in the victories of this November that reach from the Presidency to the Congress, up and down the coasts and throughout this nation without any further angst about the new Administration. That is very last year. It should be our mantra. No more angst about politics! The media and the pundits should take a chill, and let Barack meet with folks without all of the sensationalisms. Again, it's like watching an episode of Lost where you feel a bit dizzy and off center after each and every spin of the bottle.

Trust that the man we elected will make the right choices. The game of musical chairs (or was that wars) is finally over. Rejoice and enjoy the Obama euphoria. All too soon we will need to strap in for the challenges of a lifetime in righting this country once again. There's plenty to worry about as the economy continues to spiral out of control, and many American families are irrevocably impacted.

The wise man will figure out the seating at his dinner table for the next 8 years. We don't need any more guessing or speculation. There is enough instability without adding any more drama.
