Unity Will Win This Election

The Democrats may be falling into the same trap circa 2000 and 2004. They are fighting among themselves and defying the laws of Unity. Watch the way the Republican machines spins out deliberate machinations placing the Democrats in unfathomable positions. It is like watching the serfs moan and groan among themselves as the conquering army wrecks havoc in their wake.

Unity! Lock step. We can win!

Introduce a little of Governor Palin and take us all off message.

Unbelievable! Lehman Brothers is going into bankruptcy and the Fed is allowing it. The two largest mortgage related financing entities are taken over by the government last week, and we're fighting among ourselves about the candidacy of Governor Palin?

Women are fighting among women on gender bias. This is not about gender. It is about mythology. Notice she is not wearing pants suits. Check out those legs right! Aha, get the storyline and stop buying it. You are just being exploited.

Blue collar men get a hold of your rapidly emptying wallets, and don't fall for the same trap. Remember and return to your first love: Hillary. She's the one who is going to stick with you through thick and thin, not the vixen of the Wild West.

Party elders get a hold of your egos and find the leadership gene. Bring this Party together. Do not let this election be ravished by waves of misinformation. Stop the fractions from eviscerating one another. Make the media return to ethical and solid journalism

Fight back! Take your hands out of your pockets. And do not put on mittens!

Palin doesn't wear pant suits but she's an empty suit nonetheless. They can cry sexist all they want but it's the Dems who have done more for women's causes than anyone. Besides, you want sexism? Wait till McCain is on ventilator somewhere and the Arabs, the Russians, the Chinese (et al) find out who's in charge. They will have her for lunch. The fact the she is a she means nothing. The fact that she is a nothing means everything. And if all she has left to work with is our military appendage...where's your god now?

There's a time you have to just go with your gut, a la Ben Bradlee in "All the President's Men" and just stand behind the boys. Instead of all this bickering, and dissecting amongst the Democrats.

Yes, asking questions is a good thing, but in the absence of the mythological perfect candidate one must sometimes accept the best choice, and that's Barack Obama. Any woman who would allow Sarah Palin's god to dictate what her children do with their bodies and their lives is an idiot.

McCain understands one thing many democrats don't. Platoon mentality. Sometimes you have to take a hill before you start arguing about what to do with it. Democrats, while taking Capitol Hill, have yet to take the White House. That takes numbers, and like your article says a lock step mentality.

Amazingly they have promised safety which we do not have; security which is crumblng as evidenced today; and small goverment which is laughable. It's a simple message that cries for delivery.

Frankly, if they win -- let me suggest that the state governance will become more important and powerful. Hence the latest stealth campaign to recapture the majority of the governors throughout the country by the Reps.

So keep those Dems distracted and off message. Manufacture the story. Keep the mythology coming. And our strategists will stay off kilter and miss the forest which saving the trees.

We white collar men have a lot to worry about too. My retirement savings has plummeted, value of my house has plummeted, my income because of the Bush recession has taken a hit, childrens' college tuition is expensive, etc. etc.

And then more importantly, what world am I leaving to my children -- global warming, national debt, cra ppy jobs, out-of-control medical expenses, foreign relations in the toilet, etc., etc.

It is time for a solid economic plan that does not waste our legacy on an energy war that we should never have engaged. The last eight years has trashed our economic stability as a nation. Time to take back the toys and rebuild this society.
