The Wedding Toast

Posted: 04/26/2012 7:33 pm

Let me just start off by saying that I have the greatest grandparents in the world. They are incredibly loving, supportive, the two funniest people I know, and also incredible role models. Both are still working (at jobs they truly are passionate about) and they've been married for 72 years!!! Well, recently, it was my turn to take the plunge, and while they were not able to make the trip across the country to attend the wedding, they sent along this inspiring and unforgettable wedding toast to me and my wife.

I hope you enjoy it as much as we did :)

I bet you that was the highlight of the wedding ceremony. They could have played that over and over on a loop and it would have been an enormous hit. In fact, they could have charged the general public to come in and watch it and they probably would have had their wedding paid for through those proceeds. This video was on "The Today Show" last week some time and I loved it then and I love it again now. God bless Kenny and Selma who according to Rule #4 (I forget if it was the first Rule #4 or the second Rule #4) were arguing about NOT arguing to make a successful marriage. How cool was that? Did you notice that during the kiss, I think Kenny slipped Selma the tongue? Ah, romaance is great, isn't it?
