Only nine segments aired on the Louis C.K.-hosted "Saturday Night Live." What's even more remarkable is that a grand total of five sketches were killed after dress rehearsal. So it goes without saying (but I will anyway, for some reason) that airtime was at a premium this week. On to the sixth Relevancy Poll of the season we go ...
1. Kate McKinnon (Last Week: 12) Slowly but surely, Kate McKinnon is filling in the gap that Kristen Wiig left behind.
2. Bobby Moynihan (Last Week: 5) Just as Chris Christie is looking ahead to 2016, it's pretty obvious that Bobby Moynihan is, too.
3. Cecily Strong (Last Week: 7) Even today, I can't turn on a television without seeing her rendition of Michael Bloomberg's sign language interpreter, Lydia Callis.
4. Aidy Bryant (Last Week: 6) This makes two solid shows in a row for Bryant. I will predict that we have not seen the last of her social media expert.
5. Seth Meyers (Last Week: 8) With three separate "Update" segments, it was even more apparent how smooth Meyers is at cultivating laughs out each one of them.
6. Jason Sudeikis (Last Week: 2) I've grown quite fond of Sudeikis' Mitt Romney and, yes, it's been lucky for us as viewers that the role didn't have to be recast because of a Sudeikis departure from the show.
7. Fred Armisen (Last Week: 13) The world needs Nicolas Fehn now more than ever.
8. Bill Hader (Last Week: 3) It's kind of odd how little Hader has had to do with the election season (Clint Eastwood aside). I can only assume his presence will return to normal starting, oh, next week.
9. Taran Killam (Last Week: 1) Yes, I was hoping to see Brad Pitt show up again to try and sell me something. This would be welcome any week.
10. Vanessa Bayer (Last Week: 10) Bayer, too, has kind of been lost to the political sketches shuffle (other than "Fox and Friends," of course).
11. Kenan Thompson (Last Week: 14) Thompson's reaction to the make-out scene in "Last Call" might be one of my favorite moments from the entire show.
12. Nasim Pedrad (Last Week: 9) Sadly, she wasn't seen after the cold open. Nasim Pedrad is due for a big week soon.
13. Jay Pharoah (Last Week: 4) An Obama sketch was cut from dress rehearsal (embedded below for your enjoyment!), which would explain Pharoah's lack of airtime. But that doesn't explain why an Obama sketch was cut three days before the election.
14. Tim Robinson (Last Week: 11) Well, it happens -- Robinson was only seen in the "Good Nights." (Plus, five - five! - sketches were cut from dress. Robinson was most likely a victim of that, too.) But not a bad run, considering that this is only the first time this has happened to him this season.
