"The Most Awesomest Thing Ever" Food Battles

Posted: 04/20/10 01:51 PM ET

Ninjas vs. naps; Niagra Falls vs. RAM; ping pong vs. Dostoevsky: The battle of the world's most awesome thing has waged since the beginning of time (nothingness vs. somethingness) with no clear champion. A new site called "The Most Awesomest Thing Ever," from digital creative agency Big Spaceship, aims to conclude the awesome tournament and resolve all personal bets on the matter. The site pits two random things against one another for you to choose the more excellent with a mouse click, and send the inferior thing into a smoky explosion.

Foodies will find the occasional match up of edibles (see photo above) to be of particular interest. As you can see from this next example (and the few more after the jump), the preference is not always unequivocal.

This is just the kind of random humor I needed today. Thankfully the Circus Peanut was not matched with styrofoam because that would be moot. I'll take the cardboard ;)
