Top AIPAC official, Jonathan Kessler, is talking about how they will deal with student opponents at UC Berkeley. He then admits how AIPAC operates in Washington.
"We're going to make sure pro-Israel students take over the student government and reverse the vote."
Wow. Kessler feeds into every stereotype out there on the pro-Israel lobby. Arrogant, one-issue ideologues who should be registered as foreign agents.
To think that they can snap their fingers and get more than 300 members of congress to sign on to a letter criticizing OUR president, and ordering him to cozy up more with Netanyahu...
Again - wow.

The only way Israel can defend itself is with threats and by stifling democracy. You'll notice they will NEVER agree to a public debate on the issues. All the facts are against them.

All readers here should notice that every MJ Rosenberg article has the same theme: Israel bad, Israelis bad, people who support Israel are bad.
Does it make sense to trust such writers? Of course not. He appears to be a writer with a clear agenda: To try to dig up dirt on Israel or people who support Israel and run a smear campaign.

Hang on James. The Huffington Post needs a balanced point of view. After all, for bloggers who are principally critical of Israel they have Ali Abunimah, Sharmine Narwani, Yermi Brenner, Hani Almadhoun, Max Blumenthal, Jamal Dajani, Mya Guarnieri, Josie Ensor, Richard Greener, Noura Erekat, James Zogby, Kevin Coval, Daoud Kuttab, Robert Naiman and now Jared Malsin.
They really need one more, you see. For balance.

I for one am thrilled to hear voices of those willing to criticize Israel. The truth about Israel has not broken through media censorship in the past and bloggers like Mr. Rosenberg are doing a great job of presenting an alternative viewpoint.

MJ Rosenberg, who ONLY seems to write anti-Israel hate articles, appears to have cut out a mere 26 seconds of a speech and shown us something out of context to suit his agenda.

Would have been more convincing if there wasn't a piece missing... I am always wary of edited material. Can you please post a link to the unedited version of that speech?
delrin5: Would have been more convincing if there wasn't a piece
That wasn't an unedited version, Mr. Rosenberg. It's a longer video, but the section with those quotes is edited in the same way that yours was. Can you find a video of the *whole* speech?

I believe they should register as a foreign lobby since their interests often hurt our interests
in the world.
All I can say is SO WHAT?
