BREAKING NEWS: Listen here.

When the U.S. Supreme Court ruled in Citizens United v. Federal Elections Commission that corporations have the same rights as individuals to participate in elections, Murray Hill Inc. saw an opening to take this historic civil rights struggle to the next level -- it is running for Congress.

For too long, corporate interests had to rely on campaign contributions and influence peddling to achieve their goals in Washington. But thanks to an enlightened Supreme Court, multinational corporations can now eliminate the middle-man and run for office themselves.

Our campaign has caught fire across the U.S. and around the world. We were featured in a page-one story in The Washington Post, on NPR, CNBC, CBS' Face the Nation, The Huffington Post, The New York Times online and many other publications and radio shows.

But Stephen Colbert's announcement that he's organizing a March to Keep Fear Alive got us thinking. It's often said that one corporation can make a difference, and every conglomerate must try. What more could Murray Hill Inc. do to further undermine the archaic and increasingly irrelevant canard of individual democracy? We are the Fear that Stephen Colbert is working so tirelessly to protect -- and we want every voter in America to know it!

That's why, inspired by Stephen Colbert and the response we've received from hundreds of thousands of YouTube viewers, ten thousand Facebook fans and the swell fellows we meet at Bohemian Grove, Bilderberg, Skull and Bones and the Trilateral Commission, Murray Hill Inc. has launched an exciting new venture.

Today, we are running ads on Ohio and Delaware radio stations in support of two of the many stalwart defenders of corporate hegemony running for office -- Rep. John Boehner (R-OH) and U.S. Senate candidate Christine O'Donnell (R-DE). We plan to roll out this campaign to other congressional districts and states between now and the November election.

The 30-second ads hail the candidates for their opposition to the Disclose Act, the legislation sponsored by Murray Hill's opponent in the November election, Rep. Chris Van Hollen (D-MD). The legislation would have blunted the impact of the Supreme Court ruling that protected the rights of corporations to make unlimited, undocumented campaign contributions.

Van Hollen and the other sinister forces of anti-corporate bigotry are gathering to limit the free-speech spending rights of America's great corporations. Thankfully, true patriots like John
Boehner and Christine O'Donnell know that corporations are people too, and they have an inalienable right to wield unchecked power in our elections.

We often hear that we have the 'best Congress money can buy,' but sadly, this ideal remains elusive. Our goal is to elect a corporate Congress whose loyalty and votes can be openly sold, leased and traded. These priorities are important to John Boehner and Christine O'Donnell, and they are important to the American people.

Listen for more Murray Hill ads coming your way soon. And join us in Washington with Stephen Colbert on October 30.

(You won't see us, but we'll be there in spirit and disembodied voice.)

We need a very smart lawyer that knows corperate law to challenge the Supreme Court on Citizens United v Federal Elections Commission. There is no way a Corperation is a person, it is a Conglomerate. The Supreme Court better go back and revisit that issue because Murray Hill is making a mockery out of the Supreme Court,Congress and the people who are running for Congress. They are being blatantly bought. Them and the rest of the Republicans. They are being so obnoxious about it they could care less what they say. I think the voters might have something to say come election day. We may be poor or middle class but you are not going to rub our nose's in your money.

You hit this nail on the head--corporations are running for Congress to the detriment of the ordinary American whose life will be forever changed by the traitorous SCOTUS decicion onf Citizens United.

I don't understand. If the Supreme Court says corporations are as 'individuals', who can make unlimited, undocumented contributions, why can't I, as an 'individual', do the same? Or, can I? Just sayin'

cynt - never ask embarrassing question. It is wicked to question the rights of corporations to destroy the land of America, the water of America and the air of America. And now you have the gall to question their right to make unlimited contributions to a candidate who will strengthen corporations. That is like questioning god.

This stupid PR stunt has just about run its course, I'm hoping.

The Supreme Court did not rule that corporations "have the same rights as individuals to participate in elections." They ruled that corporations, unions, advocacy groups, and other entities have the right to collectively speak on behalf of their members, donors, and shareholders under the First Amendment.

If this weren't the case, by the way, then Congress could pass a law that made it illegal for unions to hire lobbyists to represent their members' interests to the government (a union, after all, is not really a person). Anybody here think that's a good idea?

Stupid PR stunts are bad enough, they're even worse when the people behind them have no idea at all what they are talking about, and worse still when they're used to promote censorship (which would explain why the ACLU, among others, supported the Citizens United decision).

It's your story, lie as you need to lie. We still don't believe you or that guff about your "compassion and concern" for people.
I don't think it was a PR stunt, I think it was an ironic way of showing how lacking in principles these so called leaders are.

I really hope this campaign gets more press as we draw closer to elections. It's a simple way to draw a simple map for simple people who might not understand wtf has happened in America.

The Capital building needs a new wing. It should be the House, the Senate and the Fortune 500. Now, if we can just get Exxon confirmed to the SCOTUS...

Does this mean every citizen with the ability to do so should incorporate him/her self as a Chapter S Corporation simply to insure availability of political clout? There are limits on the ability of single individuals to donate, but none if they become corporate entities.

As for O'Donnell: Save your money! Mike Castle, the Delaware Icon and Congressman has announced he will not mount a write in campaign, thus sealing what little chance little Christine had. Thanks Mike, bye bye Christine.

Why not? Why already have Ben Nelson, Inc., John Boehner, Inc., Reverend Sam Brownback, Inc., Jim Bunning, Inc. and John McCain, Inc. (dba You Kids Get Off My Lawn), etc.etc. etc. in office. At least a Board of Directors is voted on by stockholders.

Since the Supreme Court says that Corporations are actually people that can spend money in elections, then it stands to reason that Walmart should be able to run for president.

The law firm of Roberts, Scalis, Alito and Thomas must be so proud. Without their support and assistance, Murry Hill might be relegated to just providing entertainment.
