OK, I'm no more enthusiastic about this story than anyone else, but once I start something, I guess I have to stick with it. Jose Lambiet in today's Palm Beach Post reports (second item) that Ms. Coulter's attorney is trying to get her Palm Beach address stricken from local records, though it's been noted in both BradBlog and Huff's Crime Blog, not to mention the PB Post, which notes:

The Florida Statutes show very narrow reasons to have an address erased from records. Those include people in law enforcement, corrections, the judiciary, revenue collections and code enforcement. The law also provides hard-to-get exemptions for the victims of domestic violence or aggravated stalking.

That last exception would provide a good excuse, but Lambiet writes that he "couldn't find tangible stalking reports [concerning Ann Coulter], although her former agent claimed last year that Coulter had stalkers, including one who sent her roses daily." On the other hand, he writes, though Ms. Coulter's lawyer did not respond to questions from the PB Post, he has made one significant admission to Palm Beach County officials:

Contrary to what Coulter has been clamoring in lectures and on TV when asked about the snafu, she does live in Palm Beach.

NB: My usual caveat on comments: please stick to the topic, and I will delete all transgender jokes.

Addendum: Or an explanation. Maybe I shouldn't rely on Latin. NB is a long-used abbreviation of "nota bene," or "note well." A commenter with a fake email address considered the above "caveat" insulting. My apologies to people who would not dream of composing a comment that was off-topic, ad hominem or sexually insulting, but I was merely hoping to forestall such behavior, which has been known to happen here.
