A little-known knob in the tree of Virginia history lies at the end of a dirt road in Aquia. Neighboring St. William of York Church in Stafford and flanked by wooded swampland, the Brent Family Cemetery dates back to 1686, when King James II of England granted George Brent a swath of 30,000 acres nestled between the Potomac and Rappahannock Rivers.
