I don't think this is a bad thing. I believe that if you've always had a big nose and hated being taunted for it, there was nothing wrong with having it adjusted to make you feel better about yourself. If you have "Obama" ears, and they bother you, get them fixed, and if you have wrinkles, and you don't like looking old, get a face lift.
It's hard to find a celebrity or supermodel these days who isn't sporting a couple of big fat lips on her face. In most cases, those big puffy lips aren't the lips she was not born with. Those lips were purchased at great cost and considerable pain. And why? Apparently because they look youthful or sexy or something like that.
I was reading an article on Louise Cady-Fernandes' blog, Lines of Beauty, about this week's fascinating TIME magazine piece, Nip. Tuck. Or Else: Why You'll be Getting Cosmetic Procedures Even If You Don't Really Want To. Everything from the cover photo to the subtitle had all my jingly flesh up in arms.
If you've been thinking of making any changes in your physical appearance (e.g. cosmetic surgery), romantic relationships (e.g. getting engaged) or a large financial investment (e.g. buying that new Tesla) - think again! You may be doing these things at the wrong time, because Venus is going retrograde!
