Looking back at my gymnastics career, the thing that I miss the most is to be able to perform in front of a crowd and Dancing with the Stars really takes me back to the competition days as the show has given me the opportunity to be able to do that again. There is truly nothing quite like the feeling of being in front of crowd.
And that's the point. Friends ask me, what's the right way to meditate? I have no idea. I just breathe in and out and notice the breath and the thoughts as they pass through my mind. When I take some time every day to meditate, something positive always comes from it... a feeling of well-being, a thought, a feeling of peace. And it helps you to learn to sit with all kinds of feelings.
