never felt more Jewish than when I intermarried. Suddenly, I was faced with the challenge of holding on to a faith I'd never fully identified with, for fear of losing it amid boisterous Christmas mornings or Easter feasts.
I want to point out that I am not partial to the term "partial." I do not consider myself a "partial" anything. I have never heard anyone describe themselves as "partially Jewish." I am a self-defined full Jew, who also insists on my right to celebrate my birth into an interfaith family.
