Ted Danson narrates a new doc that reveals an inconvenient truth about our love of seafood: if unsustainable fishing practices continue, we could see the collapse of the world's fisheries by 2048.

In China, heads might roll over a scandal like this one, at least if the country received global attention for its allowing corrupt health officials' greasy palms come before, um, public health.

It turns out that many foods sweetened with high fructose corn syrup contain mercury. Worst of all, the FDA has known about this potential toxin and has continued serving it up since at least 2005.

Piven's abrupt departure from Speed the Plow was a low in the history of Broadway. Every actor who ever uttered the edict "the show must go on" rolled his eyes, or rolled over in his grave.

While there may be a back story that prompted David Mamet to make his remark about Jeremy Piven, his comment is wildly inappropriate in that it makes light of a very serious environmental problem.

A 20-something who either just lost a job or has one that pays so little it's hard to tell the difference is not going to be seduced by face time with a star when there's high-definition TV.

Jennifer Lopez looked great!
Kate Winslet looked dazzling. Angelina Jolie looked radiant. Jay Lo had a lot of nothing going on.
lopez needs a new look. sheesh. she has muffin tops hangin' over the sides of her dress. she's gorgeous....but WHY???????
also, to be snarky, what's up with pierce brosnan's wife. she's 100 pounds overweight.
I think he likes big girls. His first wife, Cassandra Harris, who died of cancer, was also plump when they were together.
In other words, it's none of our business.
She wasn't always heavy, she was actually an average sized very beautiful woman. Don't be cruel, we don't know that perhaps she's having to take medication that causes weight gain.
Least favorite thing on the red carpet:
That crazy zipper on the back of Renee Z's dress.
Second least favorite on the red carpet:
The ridiculousness of that interview with the obviously beautiful megan fox describing herself to the interviewer that she is just so painfully insecure and on the verge of vomiting. Give me a break!!
Most favorite thing on the red carpet:
The honesty of Maggie Gyllenhall when inappropriately asked about the death of her friend, Heath Ledger. I hope it made Seacrest uncomfortable, but since he has ice in his veins, I doubt it.
Least favorite thing about the award show:
Ricky Gervais' comment about you get awards when you make a holocaust movie.
Second least favorite thing:
The Steven Spielberg speech...I'm sorry, I was totally bored. I wasn't feelin' it. I don't think he really spoke from his heart.
Most favorite things from award show: Mickey Rourke's genuine gratefulness to his dogs past and present. AND Kate Winslet forgetting Angelina was her fellow nominee.
Kate is looking fantastic!!!!
