Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that "the people of Israel welcome the release of Jonathan Pollard."
He's expected to settle in the New York area while he spends at least the next five years on parole.
"I just want to see him out, I can't bear it anymore, that he sat and lost all of his life in jail, it's a crime, it's such a crime."
