It is that time of year when most of us are shopping for the perfect gifts to give and for the best deals on them. Should I buy it online or at the store? Which model has the most features and best price? Which one will they like the best? Compare, compare, compare.
When I work with people, I never consider them working "for" me, or me working "for" them, but "with" me as part of a team. I now understand why I've been met, time and again, with disappointment or frustration.
We need to stop comparing a current relationship with a past one. Doing so robs our future of having the opportunity to present us with the most amazing experiences. We judge everything that comes our way on something in our past instead of judging it on the here and now.
While "just be yourself" sounds like cliché advice that your parents told you on your first day of school, it's probably the best and the simplest way to express my thoughts on this whole "dating tips" issue.
