The movie, starring hip-hop duo Kid 'n Play, is joining the National Film Registry due to its impact on American culture.
The Library of Congress announced Monday that the John Travolta musical, “The Dark Knight” and “The Blues Brothers” are among the 25 movies tapped for preservation this year.
The 1898 film, "Something Good - Negro Kiss," is believed to have the earliest depiction of black intimacy on-screen.
