Growing up in Tulsa, my dream was to play in the NBA. I am fortunate to have been able to achieve my dream, and now helping other kids follow their dreams has proven to be just as impactful on my life as every minute that I played in the NBA.
After an extremely hard fought series, the Knicks are slightly beat up. Yet, they proved they could win in the playoffs with defense and experience. Hopefully it won't be another 40 years before New York City gets another championship.
Instead of insulting Boston or the Celtics during this year's NBA playoffs, I have been simply enjoying and analyzing the games and discussing them respectfully with friends who are Boston fans. I encourage you to do the same.
