Even if you only spend 15-30 minutes in your affected area at a time, you are making progress. Starting in an area of your home that isn't needing your attention is defeating the purpose. You will still feel frustrated because the area in your home that needs the attention isn't getting the attention it deserves.
I was in Washington DC at Regan airport at 6:30 AM January 25 standing in the curbside check-in line for my flight to LAX. This was the morning before the anticipated biggest snow fall in a hundred years. The lines inside the airport were twice as long as normal so the freezing cold outside was preferable.
Productivity is an all purpose word for getting a lot done. It can be as simple as a housewife paying the bill on time, or a husband fixing the roof before the seasonal rains, or a school age child studying consistently before a test. What ties the examples together is that these people are doing something productive.
