Last month I told friends I was taking a few days off to go on a vision retreat, and I realized people had no clue what I was talking about. "Is that a course you're taking?" someone asked. Good question.
Recently I arrived at a one-day retreat not realizing that most of our activities were going to be completed in silence. We were an eclectic group of 25 semi-spiritual women. Each of us had carved out the day for self-reflection and renewal.
