Being a spiritual person means that you honor your body and care for it as much as you do your psyche. Your body is here for you, to take you through your days on this planet. It's a vital part of who you are. The more you honor the body and keep it healthy, the happier and more relaxed you will be.
It takes courage to radically change direction towards a more sustainable and healthy movement for justice. But change makers owe nothing less to the millions of community members impacted by the economic injustices they fight for every day. If we can truly support one another and open our hearts, we can connect and create a radical solidarity.
Drink another cup of coffee, yes more coffee that will fix everything. That's what I kept telling my tired body, and while I drank A LOT of coffee , it seemed like my weariness was deeper than what the caffeine could reach, and so I had to push back the voice that just kept saying, why not try a stronger cup of coffee, why not drink the one labeled dark magic, and instead listen to the one saying, stop.
We're not just wallflowers or antisocial jerks afraid of being around others. Even the most outgoing introverts can move from well-meaning participators to angry and exhausted if we're not careful. But the first step to having enough energy to spend on the projects (and people) we want starts with taking personal responsibility.
