Before signing a bill granting compensation to 9/11 first responders, President Donald Trump bragged that he had “spent a lot of time” with them in the aftermath of the Sept. 11 terror attacks.
Dieter Kowalski, 40, of Denver and Kieran Shafritz de Zoysa, a fifth grader at Sidwell Friends in Washington, D.C., both died in Sunday's attacks.
"We were really lucky," team manager Khaled Mashud said.
The attacker fatally shot two policewomen and a bystander. Officials are investigating it as terrorism.
WHAT'S HAPPENING
There's a familiar pattern in how the militant group takes credit for its terror.
It's called "post-traumatic growth" and it's not just for New Yorkers.
They were detained during a series of house searches on Friday evening.
The actor and activist hopes to have an "actual direct impact" on their lives.
"They killed two people. One of them, they threw over the balcony."
So much for Operation Iraqi Freedom.
