Shonda Rhimes is a busy lady, but when she's not working on her two hit ABC dramas, "Grey's Anatomy" and "Scandal," she's trying to calm the masses on Twitter who scream questions at her in all caps and then, get angry when they don't like the answers. It's funny to watch it unfold, time and time again, but mostly, that level of passionate fandom is a testament to the characters Rhimes has created on both series.
WHAT'S HAPPENING
In several of the books that have since been written about 9/11, it's noted that the Walt Disney Company quickly closed its stateside theme parks that day. Reportedly out of concern that the Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resorts might also be on the terrorists' target list.
A relatively small percentage of Americans eat a la the Europeans. Yet almost all the movies I've lately been watching show American characters eating the "continental" way. The question is why?
If the Bush administration would have at least acted like they might have done something wrong, maybe we could have moved on. But if Cheney is going on national TV to endorse torture, he has tied the hands of the country.
