CNN's Jim Acosta tweeted Tuesday that the president's attacks on the press could "result in somebody getting hurt."
“We should not treat our fellow Americans this way. The press is not the enemy.”
“We are here to do our jobs and report the news and report on this rally, and we’re not going anywhere," the journalist said after the encounter.
The Fox News host said the pair "don't belong" in the White House briefing room after sparring with Sarah Huckabee Sanders.
"It is very biblical to enforce the law," Sanders said about separating children from their parents.
Acosta told Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale that canceling press credentials is the work of "dictatorships."
