Veteran's Day

Estimates for the president's Veteran's Day parade, two days after the midterm vote, rose from $12 million to $92 million. The Pentagon is looking at 2019 now.
The parade will cost taxpayers up to $30 million.
"This Veteran's Day I'm thankful for the privilege to serve next to our transgender brothers and sisters in uniform."
Supporting servicepeople does not involve acts confined to the battlefield, it means providing aid when they return, as well.
The 442nd Regimental Combat Team was made up of Japanese-Americans, many of whom served when their families were imprisoned behind barbed wire.
If politicians truly wish to support veterans, they should protect and expand the government programs that serve them.
