NBC Nightly News anchor Brian Williams spoke about his career with Chairman of Loews Hotel Jonathan Tisch on February 27, 2013. Among many topics, Williams talked about covering Hurricane Katrina:

Katrina offended me. It meant that every president from Lyndon Johnson on had either lied to me or had been betrayed by public policy.

He continued, "Katrina was a terrible failure...almost a human rights failure."

The conversation became lighter as Williams joked about giving his daughter and HBO's Girls star, Allison Williams, advice:

"She got through Yale. I have 18 credits. I think I could actually do harm to a perfectly good career at this point."
