First, I will quote from the Bible, something I rarely do:

Judge Not, Lest Ye Be Judged!
Let He Who is Without Sin Cast the First Stone!

Dear Newt Gingrich;

At one time I would have held you in reasonably high regard even though you are a Republican. I did think that you at least told the truth. Not any longer. It was noted years ago that your transgressions that stemmed from campaign finance abuse and showed your serious disrespect for the American political process.

Do you perhaps remember not that long ago you gave the following interview to Focus on the Family's James Dobson where you for the first time publicly acknowledged cheating on your first and second wives.

"There were times when I was praying and when I felt I was doing things that were wrong. But I was still doing them," Gingrich said during the interview. "I look back on those as periods of weakness and periods that I'm not only not proud of, but I would deeply urge my children and grandchildren not to follow in my footsteps." (What a great disingenuous line.)

Do you recall discussing divorce terms with your first wife while she was in the hospital recovering from cancer surgery?

Do you recall espousing family values even while you were having an affair?

Did you link your party to wholesome family values and Democrats to something else?

Did you say; "I think that the mother killing the two children in South Carolina vividly reminds every American how sick the society is getting and how much we need to change things," and you Newt said, "The only way you get change is to vote Republican."

Did you EVER watch the Colin Powell address to the United Nations where he quoted information provided by the CIA that justified our going to war in Iraq?

Did you happen to notice in retrospect that NOTHING that the CIA gave to Powell to use was true?

If you would care to choose between yourself and Nancy Pelosi as to which of you would be better qualified to deserve the use of the following pejorative?

HYPOCRITE:

A person who pretends to have virtues, moral or religious beliefs, principles, etc., that he or she does not actually possess, esp. a person whose actions belie stated beliefs.

Do you think that if you were not a hypocrite that you just might find a moment to be a little critical of Bush/Cheney for lying to America, conspiring with the always truthful CIA and taking us to war with Iraq?

Don't you think that it would be reasonable for the "journalists" who "entertain and perform" on MSNBC, CNN, FNC and other outlets to give a brief history as to the integrity of Pelosi's accusers, including, or especially you, sir.

Is it unreasonable to expect those pillars of journalistic integrity at the broadcast networks to mention your past transgressions each time you appear with the intention of pillorying someone, usually a Democrat?

It is well worth repeating:

Judge Not, Lest Ye Be Judged!
Let He Who is Without Sin Cast the First Stone
