I am a "non sequitor" specialist.
I do infer improper conclusions that do not logically follow the premise of whatever. That great American Rush Limbaugh has recently discovered another societal inequity and written about it in a way that is an enormous non sequitor.
"I think the vast differences in compensation between victims of the September 11th casualty and those who die serving our country in uniform are profound," he said.
Perhaps, had someone other then Rush Limbaugh made the statement, I would not have rushed to attack the basic premise.
The compensation to the families of those of our boys and girls killed while serving our country is and has been inadequate. See, the words speak directly to the issue without any of the non sequitor 9/11 stuff.
