A few hours ago I read about remarks made by a prominent individual on a much-celebrated TV show Sunday morning and I have been haunted by them ever since. The remarks concerned the torture report recently released to the American people by a committee of the United States Senate.
What haunts me as a result of said remarks is this video, and the terrible sadness it evokes:
Somewhere in our country lies an as yet undiscovered gravesite and an appropriate stone to mark the date of death and the burial of the brain of one Richard Cheney, the 46th Vice President of the United States, familiarly and deservedly known as Dick.
