Background: Dayton, OH native, Mayor Rhine McLin received a B.A. in sociology and secondary education from Parsons College in Iowa and a Master of Education from Xavier University in Cincinnati, She taught Criminology, Juvenile Delinquency and Race Relations at Central State University West in 1997. She is also a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer for McLin Funeral Home in Dayton.
Political Involvement: In January 2002, Mayor McLin became Dayton's 67th mayor, the first female Mayor of Dayton, and its third African American Mayor in the city's history. She previously served six years in the Ohio House of Representatives, from 1988 to 1994, and was elected state senator for the 5th Ohio Senate District in 1994.

Seems as if the Supers in Ohio are playing it safe and rightly so.
