WHO: Senator Lindsey Graham, (R-SC) and Doug Holtz-Eakin, senior policy adviser, John McCain 2008
WHAT: Press conference call discussing Senator Obama and energy policy.
WHEN: Monday, June 23 at 3:30 p.m. EDT

SUMMARY
On this call, Sen. Graham claims that Obama's energy policy, as outlined by the Illinois Senator's advisers during a conference call with reporters this morning, proposes only to reduce demand rather than aggressively pursue increased supply. He uses this argument to defend John McCain's support for offshore drilling and nuclear power: "He's trying to put into the supply chain domestic inventory in a balanced way, and he's willing to push the envelope there, but at the same time have a balance, and understands he needs to protect our environment."
