SUMMARY
Obama campaign manager David Plouffe responded to John McCain's latest ad "Celeb," in this campaign press conference call. Plouffe harshly criticized McCain for taking the "low-road" and welcoming "gutter-style politics," with his latest ad which compared Obama to Britney Spears and Paris Hilton as a global celebrity unfit to lead the nation. The campaign also announced the launch of a new website, www.lowroadexpress.com, to counter what they see as McCain's false ads. "This is an election and a moment of great consequence and John McCain unfortunately seems to have made a very strategic decision to rather than engage as the focus of his campaign on these substantive issue character assaults and negative advertisements," Plouffe said.

To me these attack ads are unimportant, people have to be smarted enough to see through them. The candidate that will win will be the candidate that comes up with real answers despite these attakc ads. . Until they come up with solutions to fix our economy. McCain and Obama need better plans to fix our economy, and this energy crisis. The economy and energy go hand and hand. I mean it makes me sick to see these candidates getting side tracked when there are real issues to deal with. Did you see this video of Obama appearing with Ludicris the rapper? I understand that he is just trying to get the youth vote, but we are in such bad shape that candidates really shouldnt take time to pander about. Im still not sure who Im voting for, Maybe I will make my decision in the booth.
