Barack Obama has been a symbol of change since his campaign began. Not only was he the first black president, he brought hope and new ideas to the White House during his two terms by pushing for equality and better human rights in America.

But before he became the ruler of the free world, Barack was known as 'Barry'. He loved basketball and hung out with his weed smoking crew, 'The Choom Gang'. He began working with the community after his time at Columbia University and after attending Harvard Law School he taught constitutional law. From there he entered politics and well the rest is history.

As his time as President of the United States comes to an end, it is good to reflect on what made this man a prime candidate. Barack Obama worked hard to gain the highest seat in American politics and his well-spoken and kind man should be an inspiration to all, whether you agree with his politics or not.
