Less Is More: Photos From Our Favorite Weddings

Posted: 10/04/11 02:46 PM ET

With backgrounds in film and advertising, we decided to team up a few years ago to create a business that would meld our love of aesthetics and celebrations. When we approach a new event, our guiding principle is less is always more. We don't want spaces to feel overwrought; rather, we like to figure out creative ways to enhance what is already there -- we almost always pluck a meaningful object or item from couple's home to bring to the venue site so it feels personal and original in the composition of the details. We are inspired by pattern, art, nature, texture, craft, and, of course love. Here are some peeks from a few of our favorite weddings.

This photo encapsulates the eclectic, homespun feel our clients wanted to evoke at their wedding. We collected vintage tablecloths from different family members, flea markets and curatorial collectors. A mishmash of chairs and found vessels for florals created a granny-chic family banquet.
