Tablelist, the popular nightlife app for booking tickets and VIP tables at top clubs, lounges bars and events, has released a new feature today that could totally disrupt the social dynamic of meeting people when you're partying.

The new feature, called Connect, allows purchasing users to view a real-time guest list, then swipe, match and chat with people that will be going out to the same venue or event.

Here's how it works:

First, party goers will purchase their ticket or VIP table at any event or venue in the Tablelist app. A guest list will then appear, showing in real-time who is also attending, with a prompt to Connect. After setting up their profile, users can swipe left or right on other purchasers, with the ability to message once they match.

"It has always been our mission to improve nightlife for our users and venue partners alike" says Julian Jung, CEO and Founder of Tablelist. "We've revolutionized the discovery and booking process on Tablelist, but something was still missing. After speaking with hundreds of users, a common theme emerged, that nightlife was all about meeting people, and the social part of the experience was what they valued the most. We thought, how can we add a social layer to the consumer app, that allows our users to interact in a meaningful way, and Tablelist Connect was born."

Connect's swiping interface will feel familiar to users that have apps like Tinder or Bumble, but online-to-offline will happen seamlessly, with matches almost guaranteed to meet up at the event they both purchased for.

Tablelist users have already expressed interest in using Connect to expand their circle of party friends, make business contacts, or seamlessly plan their pregame, in addition to using the feature for romantic pursuits. Additionally, Connect users could even spot and swipe a celebrity on the app; Tablelist plans to invite hosts like Brody Jenner and DJs like KUNGS and Elephante to Connect with fans at their upcoming Boston events.

The the new update is now live, and can be downloaded from the iOS App Store and Google Play store.
