As a public service to those people who are straight or gay or NOT GAY, NOT GAY, NOT GAY, who may be dramatically impaired, I offer you my reading of the police report from the incident in which the NOT GAY conservative Senator from the great state of Idaho was arrested for playing NOT GAY footsie with an undercover cop. Though I am NOT GAY myself, I was nominated for a Tony Award for Best Actor In A Musical and feel that that does qualify me as an honorary gay, so I hope my performance does justice to these excerpts of the hottest gayest police report EVER written about a NOT GAY Senator who is CONSERVATIVE and doesn't like gay stuff because he is NOT GAY and was just trying to pick up an invisible piece of paper in the hottest gay action men's room from here to The Stonewall.

Years ago, in a public restroom, while "dropping a couple of kids off at the pool" so to speak, the man in the stall next to me made contact with my right foot. His efforts were thwarted by my loud, incredulous, "Excuse me!" after which I let out a long, loud, and odoriferous sample of metabolic gaseous product. He flushed the toilet and left quickly but I would have been really scared had I known he was Republican...
LOL! Perfect...
EX-Sen. Craig is a hypocritical piece of sh*t, but for the love of the gods why are the cops wasting their time on this stuff? No one ever had gay sex in a toilet that didn't want it- It's Consunsual.
Just for this, and for Craig exposing the whole g*ds-damned world the the last secret we had as gay men, Craig has to spend the next month working for the cause of gay equality and equal marriage rights. Fair is fair.
i saw 'idahomosexual' on 'this week' so i googled it..love that word!
Entrapment and sting are interchangeable words. If the undercover cop were in uniform while occupying the booth there wouldn't have been any hanky-panky in the restroom that day. How in the world do you describe this activity on your job description? It's all pretty sordid. Does the cop get a vicarious thrill out of sitting on a toilet all day waiting to snare an unsuspecting victim? It's hard to say which is worse, an undercover cop or an undercover fellator.
I don't like Craig at all, his party, his politics, his hypocrisy. But I am bothered by the fact that a plainclothes police sergeant has to sit at the toilet with his pants down just to keep the toilets safe. Other than it is not a nice working environment, it is aimed at prosecuting a crime committed rather than preventing one. I agree with most posters here that a uniformed police officer checking the area every half an hour would be a better use of police resources.
Problem with these republicans is that if they are Gay, they must hide behind being an "extreme gay hater" in order to survive in their party of bigots.
I enjoy it every time I see one of them caught or exposed, so they suffer the same consequences they impose on others, and reveal the enormous hippocricy that exists in their party.
"I think people are acting like we have a huge problem in this country with gays having crazy wild sex all over the place - and it just is not true."
When I was working as an outside salesman, I would frequently eat my brown-bag lunches at parks in the suburbs of DC. In one month, I witnessed more overtly sexual behavior between same-sex couples than my parents had seen in their entire lifetimes.
And on two occasions I've been accosted in public restrooms. These incidents were both serious tests of my liberal philosophies.
So while I applaud anyone who displays empathy for those whose quality of life suffers from the political and social dynamics arising from homophobia, I reject those who would minimize its unsolicited public component.
The respect needs to flow in both directions.
Apologists-
I treat gay people the same way I treat straight people, (or would have them treat me).
But sexual behavior of any orientation is a private affair, and should not be imposed unsolicited upon innocent bystanders. Anyone who does so should not be surprised when those exposed to their behavior react poorly.
The salient point for me, however, is the hypocrisy inherent when a politician actively legislates against gays, and then turns out to be a closeted homosexual himself.
That person betrays our trust, and does not deserve a position of power.
i don't care who has sex with who or where they do it frankly. but one of the most important reasons why this behavior shouldn't transpire in public bathrooms is because children use the public bathrooms.
For me it is easy. Apparently not for others. Republicans get caught in a mens rest room soliciting sex. They are not gay. Middle Eastern men have sex with a "queer" when their wifes are having their period. They are not gay. Although the "queer" is even if the men have to enlist 4 or 5 of their buddies to hold the "queer" down.
It seems to me that if a man can achieve an erection with the idea of sticking it in another mans mouth, rectum, or hand then he is a homosexual. No excuses can deny that fact.
But again it seems perfectly clear to me.
I am a gay man. I recently flew across country with my 5 year old daughter for a family reunion. Several times I had to escort her to the women's bathroom at the airport and wait outside while she went in to use the facilities.
If I was a woman traveling with a young boy and found out this type of activity was going on in the restrooms where I had to wait while my son use the facilities, I would be extremely distressed.
The gender of the individuals is irrelevant. This isn't a gay issue. This is a public sex issue and there are laws against it. Non-discriminatory laws.
We are not animals. Get a room.
the whole thing is just too tacky and check-out line ready
One edit:
Change "undercover cop" to "NOT GAY undercover cop".
Because a cop who would arrest someone for foot tapping and hand signals before it got to an actual *offer*, is definitely NOT GAY.
It's upstanding NOT GAY men like Sen LC who made it illegal for a woman to appear topless in public, but had no problem with bare-chested hunks.
... MSNBCs own Keith Olbermann is about to present a 'dramatic re-enactment' of Craigs arrest - quickly, fellow HuffPo-ers, flip (!) over to catch the potential high-larity..! ;) ...
