Squeaky? And on the 40th anniversary of the Tate-LaBianca murders? How bizarre. Also bizarre: filmmaker John Waters' appeal for the release of Leslie Van Houten, who he calls his "good friend," which is all over CNN and Huffpost.

Never been a fan of the death penalty, but in their case, I wish their original death sentence was carried out. Unfortunately, the Supreme Court struck down death penalty laws in 1972.

Watch out for Oberon and Titania too, George. Jeez.....

The MSM is in lock step with other special interests, lying, obscuring, and muddying the waters
so people can't possibly understand the most relevant issues of our time.

Bush got it backwards....."Gog and Magog" only got involved after the Americans invaded...but their names were George Bush and Dick Cheney.

As for Beck, I don't ever recall Bill Press, Alex Bennett, Mike Malloy, Mark Thompson, and , yes, even Lynn Samuels reminding their listeners to not kill people because-gasp-it would make liberals look bad. Nevermind that whole Ten Commandment prohibition, because, you know, Democrats are not the "Party of God". Oops! My bad....

The 'axis of evil' and 'crusade' comments didn't go over to well in that part of the world. Imagine if Bush had let 'Magog' slip out during a press conference.

Yeah, I really couldn't believe the Justin Barrett thing. And I saw it mentioned only ONCE in the mainstream media (and not at all here, though I didn't have time to look thoroughly)...! Unreal.

I always wondered if they picked the wrong "Ir" country to go to war against. Maybe it really was shaky geography, and they just got it all wrong. Let's sincerely hope they don't try to correct their mistakes.

The Fox News map of the Middle East is hilarious !

Wow, I knew them Egyptians were a shifty lot, but wooaaah ! They just moved their en-tire country to where Iraq used to be and apparently none of the 160,000+ US forces even noticed. And now there's a new country that hasn't even come up with a name for itself where Egypt used to be.
Sure hope this musical chairs thing doesn't adversely affect the Mid-East peace process :P

Looking over the various persons rising to prominence this week it occurred to me to ask which pair of persons would make each other most miserable over the course of a week stranded on a desert island.

My choice: Dick Morris and Orly Tatiz.

Other choices?

Nope!

That is the best answer...........................by leaps and bounds.

Could it be that Glenn Beck has overstepped the line? He's had a 912 forum on a website for months. He changed the domain of it about a month ago, to try to hide it from those who posted there opposed to his views. Now he has closed down the forum. Is it because the forum allowed posters to constantly label Obama as a racist, a Nazi, a new Hitler, a new Stalin, a socialist, a communist and a fascist? Or is it because the site was where the teabaggers organized to set up the hits on the Town Hall Meetings? Did Beck come under fire for the number of posts with veiled and not-so-veiled threats of armed insurrection to overthrow the current government?

"...the only way to keep the biblical prophecies of the Apocalypse from being fulfilled was to invade Iraq..."

I thought bringing about the Big A was the purpose of the invasion.
