Being in an adult store doesn't necessarily mean you're lonely. It could mean you have a new girl who is super fun and adventurous... ;)

Very true; but it's unlikely his ex will believe that explanation when he bumps into her.

I would have to go with the beach scenario. Not that I have any personal experience with that one or anything. Although the tandem bike one struck a chord as well. That one I do have personal experience to back it up.

Tandem bikes should only be sold with a warning against riding them alone.

I'm loving the comments on this slide show. They're the weirdest mix of incredibly funny and not getting the joke at all.

Following her on the beach? Isn't that like stalking? Not the best way to win her back.

Whenever I'm caught in that awkward position, I always explain it away by telling the police that I'm actually about 25,000 miles ahead of my ex.

But maybe if she saw him at the beach the romantic location will make her remember how she used to feel about him.

What are you talking about? I rob banks all the time while wearing my ex-girlfriend's clothes......
02:40 PM on 02/14/2012
Doesn't everyone? Framing your ex for bank robbery is the best revenge.

The beach boy scenario is definitely the most pathetic. Love your post, Paul!

The tandem bike ride... alone... takes the cake. Those things don't even look smooth and graceful when two people are on them, let alone one dude in white socks and khakis. At least the bank robber is making a name for himself... right? :)

I bet the bank robber has a much better chance of getting his name in the paper than her new boyfriend does.

I'm just sad I wasted my time reading this article... I went through all 12 thinking, "this must get more interesting....!" Nope.

It's pretty hard on a guy when she takes the chiffon away.

He never would have expected that's what he'd miss most about her.

I can't choose they all seem awkward! I just hope that anyone in these situations handles it gracefully in a non-embaressing way (don't wanna make it worse). I would also hope the ex-girlfriend says something positive to ease the embaressment. Like not saying anything with the kiss cam or sticking with "nice to see you how are you?" over the porn things. As for the beach, not saying anything and enjoying the water is probably best. Everyone has embaressing situations sometimes so I would hope there is a certain amount of "I won't make fun of you" about this. Better off never robbing banks at all though. In that case I hope she turns you in!

In every relationship you have to overlook some faults in hopes that your partner will overlook your faults. Maybe she should be willing to overlook his robbing of banks and he should overlook her lack of support for his career.

I would still report him to the police. I know some girls like bad boys and would get a rush from a boyfriend like that but to me, it's one thing if by bad it's not something illegal but it crosses the line into not okay if the act in question is illegal. Everyone has their own opinions though. I liked the others mentioned and as I said in my comment, one would hope that the ex would make the situation as comfortable as possible (for the others) and be nice to the guy. Even if it was a nasty breakup, it's best to just pretend the embarressing thing didn't happen/isn't happening. If you witness a crime or know about it and don't report it, that could get you arrested too. But things like the porn, my PERSONAL view is, if you aren't in a serious relationship you should enjoy porn if that's what you like but it's respectful to avoid it if in a serious relationship. In the cases you mentioned, the dude is single, he wants to watch porn, watch it (just don't expect women to look and act like that in real life).
