Some days when I feel defeated, hope is the only thing that can coax me out of my mindset. It has a way of challenging me to consider the best possible outcome of my dilemma.

I came across this uplifting, anonymous quote: "Hope is the little voice you hear whisper 'maybe,' when it seems the entire world is shouting 'no.'"

For me hope begins with that subtle whisper, then speaks with full-fledged conviction. With hope, I begin to trust.

The secret of hope is that it's within you. That's where it thrives, and will seek you out.

As Emily Dickenson puts it: "Hope is that thing with feathers that perches in the soul and sings the tune without words and never stops at all."
