I am a Sagittarius with Gemini rising. I've never been married (except for a few months when I was 19 which was such a huge mistake I don't even count it). But now I feel ready to meet my match. Although no prospects are in sight, I am very certain about the kind of guy I want to wed: He should be a few years older than me, financially independent, movie-star handsome and have free time so we can travel the world. Plus, my future husband has to be emotionally and spiritually advanced because I consider myself to be. I don't have trouble attracting men - I'm 42 years old, and to be Sagittarian-like blunt, I'm drop-dead gorgeous with a perfect figure. And I'm super fun. I love how clear you are about the kind of marriage partner you're looking for! I've heard countless success stories about ladies and guys "holding a vision" of who they want to hook up with and attracting just that. I also hear that adding the line "This or something better for the highest good of all concerned" helps keep things open for pleasant surprises. That's because perfect partners often have different attributes than we imagine they should.* Being flexible is smart.
Your love prognosis is great! You could indeed find a partner soon - possibly between now and April 2009. One reason I predict this is your Venus, planet of love, is in the sign of Aquarius. Since Lucky Jupiter is traveling Aquarius through 2009, love-related matters can be heightened for you. (Most Aquarians will find something extra good unfolds in 2009.)
Since your Venus is in Aquarius, friendship is an important key to love for you. You've got to feel your partner is a trusted buddy. It's possible you turn someone who starts out as a friend into a lover.
Being a Sagittarius you (and many other Sagittarians!) can fall in love, and/or experience more fire in their love lives before this year's end. And, hey -- I'm not surprised that you haven't chosen to get married yet. Sagittarians, Geminis and Aquarians are the free-spirits of the zodiac. It would also be smart to have someone support you in building intimacy-enhancing skills and habits. Like everything in life, love and intimacy is something we learn.
One hint is to learn how to overcome fears of confinement that scare you away from love and intimacy. (Sagittarians, Geminis and Aquarians tend to be prone to those concerns). One good way to accomplish that is to focus on the fun and freedoms connecting with someone who really gets you can bring, versus fretting over what you think you'll have to give up.
I trust you'll be a good student of love. Sagittarians are famous for overcoming the hugest of challenges when they believe doing so teaches them something worthwhile.
